When things don’t go to plan, we tend to read it as a negative outcome. But quite often it’s not a failure at all. It’s a course correction.

I don’t want to minimise anything you might be going through right now.

But across 25 years in business, the times things didn’t go to plan are the times I was forced to change direction and build something better.

Diamonds are made under pressure.

It happened when my business was all about live events and we suddenly couldn’t gather anymore.

It happened a couple of years ago when AI arrived and I wondered whether it would replace me.

Both times, I embraced the chance to pivot — and both times I ended up with a better business and a better life.
